The Environmental Atheist

Jeffrey Sachs was the keynote speaker at a recent progressive strategy conference in Quebec, Canada 2020. He made some scathing but reasoned indictments of the Bush Administration, the Harper Government, the Pentagon and the general apathy of the world to the plight of Africa. Granted, he was preaching to the converted, but I can't recall ever witnessing such an engaging discourse. I have to read his book now, The End of Poverty: Economic Possibilities for Our Time.
