Well, you could postulate the causes right back to 1982, but Noam Chomsky points to the Israeli abduction of two civilians from Gaza. Yes, I know, it doesn't really seem fair seeing as one Israeli soldier is worth about 100-150 Lebanese and Palestinian civilians. Don't worry, though. The market will sort itself out. It's magical really.
